Read the operating instructions completely and familiarise yourself with the device before initial operation.

DANGER! Risk of death by electric shock, fire or explosion! Contact with live wires or components poses a risk of death! If the live device comes into contact with water, there is a risk of death!
Do not pull the power cable over sharp edges, trap it or let it hang down. The power cable must be protected from heat and moisture. The power cable must not be stretched or strained.
The power cable must not touch any hot parts of the device!
Always switch off the device after use!
Only insert the plug into the socket when the device is switched off!
Never wrap the power cord around the device!
Always unplug the power plug when cleaning the device, in the event of a malfunction, or when not in use!
Do not place the device or power cord on hot surfaces such as stove tops or similar, and keep it away from open flames!
Before each use, check that the device is in perfect condition. It must not be used if: - it is not working properly - the supply cable is damaged - the device shows visible damage - the device has been dropped once - or if it has fallen into water.
If the power cord is damaged, it may only be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or a qualified electrician in order to avoid a hazard!
Repairs may only be carried out by an authorised service centre or by a suitably qualified electrician using original spare parts.
Never immerse the device in water.
The device must NOT be cleaned under running water!
Do not use this device near bathtubs, shower trays or other containers that contain water.
If the device is used in a bathroom, unplug the plug after use, as the proximity of water poses a hazard even when the device is switched off.
Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the power cord or with wet hands!
To prevent hazardous situations caused by inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be connected to an external switching device such as, for example, a timer, to an electrical outlet having an unstable or intermittent power supply, or to a circuit that is regularly turned off and on by the utility company.
Never use the device in environments where there is a high concentration of aerosol (spray) products or where oxygen is released.
Never spray the device with aerosol (spray) products labelled as flammable.
Protect the device from dust, dirt and lint.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Wipe the device with a slightly damp cloth and dry it with a soft cloth.
As an additional safety measure, the installation of a tested residual current device (RCD) with a rated tripping current of not more than 30 mA in the circuit is recommended. Ask your electrician for advice.

CAUTION! To avoid damage or hazards caused by improper use, observe the following safety instructions:
Safety distance: Keep a sufficient distance from hair care products and flammable materials.
Do not leave unattended: Never leave the device running without supervision.
This device may be used by children aged 8 and up.
The appliance is not intended for use by young children or persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The appliance is not a toy!
Switch off the device during longer interruptions in cutting!
Never carry the device by the cable.
Protect the device from the effects of weather, such as moisture or direct sunlight! The device is not approved for outdoor use.
The device is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher!

Packaging materials, such as plastic bags, should be kept out of the reach of children.
Use only the accessories supplied.
If the appliance is defective, never attempt to repair it yourself, as improper repairs can pose a significant hazard to the user.
If the appliance is damaged, please contact your specialist dealer or the manufacturer.

Intended use This device is to be used exclusively for cutting and styling human head hair. Any other use is not permitted. In the event of misuse, incorrect operation or improper repair, no liability will be accepted for any damage.

Waste electrical and electronic equipment at the end of its service life
Do not dispose of electrical appliances with household waste. According to European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its transposition into national law, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Recycling alternative to the return request: The owner of the electrical device is alternatively obliged to cooperate in the proper recycling in the event of abandonment of ownership instead of returning it. The old device can also be left to a collection point that carries out disposal in accordance with the national recycling and waste management law. This does not apply to accessories and aids without electrical components that are included with the old devices. The product packaging consists of recyclable materials. Please dispose of these in an environmentally friendly manner and send them for recycling.
